Privacy Policy

The short version

• No account, no login, no name or email required.
• Your data is saved on your device, not on our servers.
• We don't run our own analytics or tracking.
• Mochi Pup has no server of its own. Lessons, games, the routine, the photo diary, the treat maths, the “My dog ate…” safety lookups, Pup Papers and the Lost Dog flyer are all computed and stored on the device, and they work with the network switched off. There are two exceptions, and both use Apple’s or Google’s own systems rather than ours. Subscriptions: buying, restoring or checking a plan is handled by the App Store or Google Play, and the receipt is checked by our subscription provider (RevenueCat) so the app knows which plan is active. That check carries an anonymous store purchase identifier and the receipt, never your dog’s details, photos, diary, records or anything else you entered. Family sharing (iPhone): if you start or join a family pack, the dogs you share, their diary, routine, training progress and Pup Papers (including the photos and files attached to them) are stored in Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit): in the iCloud account of the person who started the pack, and shared only with the people they invite. Apple encrypts it in transit and at rest; we cannot read it and it never passes through a server of ours. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on the device; nothing is sent to us.

Information we do not collect

We do not ask for, collect, or store personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, or photos. We have no user accounts and no server-side profile of you. The only time we see your email is if you choose to email our support address.

Data stored on your device

Your dogs’ profiles (name, breed, look, size, weight, birthday, photo and personality settings), the cartoon look you chose, training progress and session history, Play Park scores, coins, outfits and rewards, your daily routine (meal and walk times), the Pup Diary and photo diary (photos, moods and notes), the records you add to Pup Papers (including any photos of vet documents), the phone number and microchip number you choose to put on a Lost Dog flyer, your answers to the setup questions (how experienced you are, your goals, who is in your household), the name you use in a family pack, your reminder and music choices and your app settings are stored locally on your device, in the app’s storage. You can export all of it as a JSON backup at any time, on any plan. A flyer, care summary, photo or Pupdate card leaves the device only when you share it yourself. Apart from family sharing that you turn on (above), none of it is uploaded by the app, and deleting the app deletes it. Leaving or stopping a family pack removes the shared copy from iCloud for the people who leave; every phone keeps its own copy.

Advertising

Mochi Pup does not show ads and does not include any advertising SDK.

Purchases

If Mochi Pup offers in-app purchases, the transaction is handled by the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) and processed for us by RevenueCat, which manages entitlements and receipts. We never see or store your payment card details. RevenueCat may process a purchase/receipt identifier to unlock what you bought and restore it across your devices. Analytics

Mochi Pup does not include our own third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. Any limited, aggregated diagnostics you receive come from the app stores' standard reporting (for example crash counts), which is governed by Apple's and Google's policies, not ours.

Children

Mochi Pup is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will address it.

Your choices and rights

Because we don't hold a personal profile of you, most control lives on your device: you can clear the app's local data. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA over data our purchase partners process; you can exercise those directly with those partners (linked above) or contact us and we'll help point you to the right place.

International users

BlackRaven AI LLC operates the app and support from Wyoming, United States. Our purchase partners may process data in other countries under their own safeguards.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy we'll change the date below and post the new version at this URL. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
