Privacy Policy
Updated October 8, 2026 · iOS and Android version 1.0
DoodleLegs (shown in the game as DOODLEGS!) is a drawing-and-running game from BlackRaven AI LLC. This policy explains the iOS and Android versions’ local saves, advertising and optional subscription.
Playing without an account
No BlackRaven account is required. Scores, drawings used during play, earned Doodads, unlocks, settings and the selected age range are handled on your device. We do not ask for an exact birth date, contacts or precise location. Game progress is stored locally, including an operating-system preferences copy; device backups (iCloud, or Android backup to your Google account) may retain it. We do not operate a server that receives your game data.
Children and age choices
The game supports children and adults. An age-range choice is remembered on the device; use Change Player when someone else plays. Child and unknown-age purchase/restore actions and relevant external controls are parent-gated. A parent gate is not a substitute for legally required parental consent. We do not offer accounts, chat or user uploads, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the ad and purchase processing described here.
Ad requests use conservative child-directed and under-age-of-consent settings for every player, a general-audience content rating, and non-personalized treatment. The iOS app does not request Apple tracking permission. The Android app removes the advertising ID permission (AD_ID) and the Android Privacy Sandbox ad permissions, so the ad SDK cannot read the device’s advertising ID or Topics. Personalized advertising is not enabled on either platform. These settings do not mean that ad delivery involves no data processing.
Advertising and diagnostics
Ads are served by Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK on iOS and Android. Google and its supporting SDKs may process IP addresses (from which approximate location can be inferred), device/app information (such as an app-scoped identifier, device model and OS version), ad interactions and diagnostic or performance information to deliver, measure, secure and troubleshoot ads. We do not enable cross-app tracking or our own gameplay analytics SDK in this release. Apple and Google may provide app-store and crash reporting under their own settings and policies.
See Google’s privacy policy and how Google processes information from partner apps. Ads are third-party content; report an inappropriate or uncloseable ad to our support address.
Purchases
iOS: the optional Ad-Free Monthly subscription uses Apple’s native in-app billing. Apple processes payment and verifies subscription transactions; we do not receive your card details. The app checks verified entitlement information to remove ads and restore access. The RevenueCat client SDK is not started by the native Apple billing path. Where connected in store administration, RevenueCat may receive server-side purchase, renewal, cancellation and refund notifications for subscription administration.
Android: the subscription is purchased through Google Play Billing. Google processes payment; we do not receive your card details. The app uses the RevenueCat SDK to validate the Google Play purchase, check whether the subscription is active and restore it. RevenueCat assigns a random, anonymous app-user ID (not your name or email) and processes the purchase token, product, transaction and subscription status, along with basic technical information such as app version, platform and IP address. We do not send gameplay data, drawings or the age choice to RevenueCat.
See Apple’s privacy policy, Google’s privacy policy and RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
Permissions and notifications
The app uses network access (for ads and purchases) and, on Android, vibration for haptic feedback. It does not send notifications; the Android app removes the notification, exact-alarm and boot permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos or location.
Data summary (Google Play Data safety)
Collected by the app’s SDKs, not by us: approximate location derived from IP address, device or other identifiers (app-scoped, not the advertising ID on Android), ad interactions, and crash/diagnostic and performance data — processed by Google for advertising, ad measurement, fraud prevention and security; and purchase history (subscription status and purchase token) — processed by Apple, Google and RevenueCat to provide and restore the subscription. Shared: the ad data above goes to Google as the ad provider. Not collected: name, email, contacts, photos, precise location, messages or gameplay content. Security: data sent by these SDKs is encrypted in transit. Not sold by us.
Your controls
Settings provides Privacy Policy, Terms, Restore Purchases, and Ad Privacy Options. Google determines whether additional privacy choices are required or available for the current request; if none are required, the app explains that instead of showing a form. A failed privacy-status check does not mean consent was granted.
Erase Save removes local gameplay progress; it does not cancel a subscription or erase Apple/Google/RevenueCat transaction or advertising records. Manage subscriptions in your Apple account or in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions).
Deleting your data
There is no account to delete. Erase Save in Settings, or uninstalling the app (on Android you can also use Settings → Apps → DoodleLegs → Storage → Clear storage), deletes all game data held on the device. To ask us to delete anything held for this app outside your device — the anonymous RevenueCat purchase record or your support emails — email support@blackravenai.com with the subject “Data deletion”; if possible include the order ID from your store receipt so we can find the record. Apple and Google keep their own transaction records under their policies; advertising data is handled by Google under its policies. Rights vary by location and we may need enough information to identify the relevant record.
Contact, retention and updates
If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to answer your request. We retain support correspondence as needed to resolve the issue and meet applicable obligations. Please do not send passwords, payment details or a child’s unnecessary personal information. Service providers retain data under their policies. We update this page when our practices change.
